Am I Buckeye Fan?!?

Well, I attended my first Buckeye football game this weekend! It was 100,000 screaming people in a blow-out. The Buckeyes beat Northwestern by like 50 points. I did enjoy the atmosphere and can appreciate their passion, but I'm not there yet. Maybe another game or 2 and I'll be a die-hard fan. Of course, my dad threatened to disown me for it, so we'll see how strong the ties of family are! I guess that I could be a Buckeye football fan and IU basketball fan, so that might be an acceptable compromise!

The game was not typical cool weather. It was so hot and with cramped conditions, I couldn't believe how incredibly stuffy it felt, but that's the price to be paid!

Travels in Spain & Morocco

Just a brief update to let you know that I'm alive and back on US soil. I still wish that I was sitting in an outdoor cafe in Barcelona drinking sangria and having a lazy afternoon.

That is probably what I learned while on vacation. Having the ability to sit still and not be rushing to the next thing. Do we really know how to relax anymore. Even when I'm sitting and reading a book, I'm usually watching the clock to make sure that I make my next social activity or work meeting or whatever.

I'll write more when I can process. See my photos in front of Cervantes' house. I'm sitting with Don Quixote!

T minus 5 days to my trip to Spain and Morocco.

List of cities that I'll be visiting:
Madrid (Home Base)
Barcelona

Maybe, just maybe Paris

I can't wait. Maria and I will be meeting in Chicago to fly to Madrid.

Hopefully, I can download photos there to add to this blog! You'll all be able to follow the trip in real time.

Travels around Midwest

Most of you know that I love to travel and see people. I took the weekend to visit Maria in Indy and then to go down to Bloomington to see my friend, Mindy before she starts her final year of law school. Go, Mindy, that's a huge accomplishment!

I didn't remember that Bloomington was such a cool town until I was down here visiting again. I do like that I can walk everywhere and the little, cool shops and restaurants that populate the town. If you haven't been here, you definitely need to take a trip down here in the fall. A college campus is just not the same any other time of year.

Tomorrow, it's off to Cincy for work and then back to Columbus! I love my friends and seeing them.

First Attempts

Hello, cyberspace!

My first attempt at blogging and trying to keep a public diary for the world to see! Don't know how comfortable this will be for me, but we'll see.

What really prompted me to start was my friend, Jen. We have been friends for a long time, but we are now in opposite sides of the country! This should be a perfect way for everyone else to see my happenings whenever they choose to keep in touch! Don't want to force anyone to participate in my life, but would like to invite you to stay up-to-date with me!
